The Symposium of Policy Debate
The Symposium of Policy Debate is the means of implementation and administration of the many group discussions of the Congress of Policy Debate. These include the public discussions of the Center and the Institute, the expert discussions of the University and the College, and the discussions of the viewpoint groups of the College, including the preliminary and viewpoint discussions of each debate.
The Symposium procedures include implementation of the on-line discussion groups and their moderation, as well as the staff procedures of monitoring, moderation, and appeal.
The Symposium of Policy Debate is part of the Symposium of Debate, which also handles non-political issues, both informally known as “the Symposium.”
